This Privacy Policy explains how the Baidu Wenku AIPPT plugin for Dify ("the Plugin") handles information when you configure or use it.

1. Scope

The Plugin is a connector between Dify and the Baidu Wenku AIPPT API. The Plugin itself does not operate a separate SaaS backend. It sends requests from your Dify runtime to Baidu Wenku AIPPT endpoints so the requested PPT task can be completed.

2. Information We Handle

The Plugin may process the following categories of information:

  • Credentials you configure for the Plugin, including App ID and Space Token
  • User inputs submitted through Dify, such as topic, title, outline, resource URL, layout options, page range, style ID, template ID, and custom template URL
  • Generated content returned by the API, such as outline text, slide JSON content, export URLs, request IDs, and error messages
  • Operational metadata needed for debugging or error handling, such as HTTP status codes, API error codes, and request identifiers

3. How We Use Information

The Plugin uses this information only to:

  • Authenticate requests to the Baidu Wenku AIPPT API
  • Generate outlines, slide content, and downloadable PPT files
  • Return results to the Dify workflow or application that invoked the tool
  • Diagnose transient API, gateway, or SSE stream failures

The Plugin is not designed to use your information for advertising, profiling, or unrelated analytics.

4. Data Storage and Retention

  • The Plugin does not maintain its own persistent database.
  • Data is processed in memory within the Dify runtime while the request is being handled.
  • Credentials are stored by Dify according to your Dify deployment and configuration.
  • Workflow inputs, outputs, logs, and execution history may be stored by Dify depending on how your Dify environment is configured.
  • Data may also be retained by Baidu or its service infrastructure according to the terms and policies applicable to your Baidu Netdisk Open Platform account.

5. Third-Party Services

The Plugin sends requests to Baidu Wenku AIPPT endpoints under the pan.baidu.com domain, including APIs used for theme lookup, outline generation, PPT generation, and PPT export.

Before using the Plugin in production, you should review the contractual, privacy, and compliance requirements applicable to:

  • Your Dify deployment
  • Baidu Netdisk Open Platform
  • Any internal data handling rules of your organization

6. Security Notes

  • The Plugin uses HTTPS requests to communicate with the upstream API.
  • The configured Space Token is used only for API authentication.
  • You should avoid submitting highly sensitive, regulated, or personal data unless your organization has confirmed that such use is permitted under your security and compliance requirements.

7. Your Choices

You can control or stop data processing by:

  • Removing or rotating the configured Space Token
  • Updating or deleting the Plugin configuration in Dify
  • Deleting workflow runs or logs in Dify according to your deployment's capabilities
  • Stopping use of the Plugin for future requests

8. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time as the Plugin evolves. The latest version published with the Plugin should be treated as the current policy.
