Description

Giphy is a tool that integrates with the Giphy API, allowing users to search and retrieve GIFs within the Dify platform. This tool enables AI applications and agents to dynamically search for relevant GIF content to enhance user interactions and content creation.

Configuration

1. Apply for an API Key

Visit Giphy Developers and create an account to obtain an API Key.

2. Get Giphy tools from Plugin Marketplace

Search for and install the Giphy tool from the Plugin Marketplace.

3. Fill in the configuration in Dify

On the Dify navigation page, go to Tools > Giphy > Authentication to fill in your API Key.

4. Using the tool

You can use the Giphy tool in the following application types:

Chatflow / Workflow applications


Both Chatflow and Workflow applications support adding Giphy tool nodes, providing capabilities to search and retrieve GIF content.

Agent applications


Select the Giphy tool you want to add in the Agent application, then enter commands to call the tool for searching and retrieving GIF images.

5. Developer Notes

  • The GIPHY tool only returns API call results. You can repackage them to suit your needs.
  • The Dify platform can render GIFs and WEBP images, but these must be rendered using Markdown syntax on the web.
