DaoXE Dify Plugin

Model provider plugin that connects Dify to DaoXE, a multi-model multi-protocol API gateway.

This plugin uses DaoXE's OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions path at:

https://daoxe.com/v1

DaoXE also exposes other protocols on the platform (including Anthropic Messages / Claude protocol, Responses, and image-compatible endpoints where available). Those are for clients that speak those APIs directly; this Dify plugin uses the OpenAI-compatible chat path that Dify's model runtime expects.

Model IDs, prices, and availability are account-scoped. Enter the exact model ID shown in your DaoXE dashboard or pricing page. This plugin does not ship a static public model list.

Not available in mainland China.

Setup

  1. Create an account at daoxe.com and create an API key in the dashboard.
  2. In Dify: Settings → Model Provider → DaoXE, enter the API key.
  3. Add a model: paste an exact model ID from your DaoXE account (customizable model).
  4. Optional per-model toggles: context size, tool calling, vision — set them to match the model you chose.

Why a branded plugin?

Dify already includes a generic OpenAI-API-compatible provider. This plugin:

  • Fixes the endpoint to DaoXE (no wrong base URL)
  • Surfaces DaoXE in the provider list with docs links
  • Keeps risk low by disallowing arbitrary user-controlled URLs
