Privacy Policy — LINE Connect

LINE Connect is a Dify endpoint plugin that bridges LINE Messaging API and Dify chat applications. This policy describes what data the plugin collects, how it is used, and what third-party services receive data.

How Data Is Used
- Message forwarding: User messages are sent to the configured Dify app via its REST API. Dify processes the message and returns a response, which the plugin sends back to LINE.
- Conversation persistence: A Dify conversation ID is stored per user/group to maintain multi-turn context.
- Admin dashboard: Chat history, user names, and analytics are stored in Dify plugin storage so administrators can monitor and manage conversations.
- Media storage: Images and files sent by users are stored in Dify plugin storage for admin preview. Storage is capped (configurable, default 200 files / 800 MB) with automatic FIFO eviction.
Data Storage
All data is stored in Dify's built-in plugin session storage (key-value store). The plugin does not use any external database or storage service.

This plugin sends data to the following external services:
LINE Messaging API
- Operator: LY Corporation
- Data sent: Reply messages, push messages
- Data received: Webhook events (messages, follow/unfollow), user profiles, media content

- Operator: Dify (self-hosted or cloud, depending on deployment)
- Data sent: User messages, uploaded files, display names, conversation IDs
- Data received: AI-generated responses, file upload confirmations

No data is sent to any other third-party service. The plugin does not include analytics trackers, advertising SDKs, or telemetry.
Data Sharing
- The plugin does not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties beyond the two services listed above.
- Admin dashboard access is protected by password and token-based authentication.
- All data remains within the Dify plugin storage boundary.
User Rights
- Users can send
/clear,/reset, or/newin the LINE chat to delete their conversation history and reset context. - Administrators can clear chat history and disable the bot per user via the admin dashboard.
Security Measures
- LINE webhook signature verification (HMAC-SHA256)
- Admin authentication with hashed tokens (SHA256, 24-hour expiry)
- Login rate limiting (5 attempts / 5 minutes per IP)
- Webhook event deduplication
- No credentials stored in code — all secrets provided via Dify endpoint settings
