CRW Dify Plugin — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-03-28
Overview
The CRW plugin for Dify connects to a CRW web scraping server (either self-hosted or the fastcrw.com cloud service) to scrape, crawl, and map websites. This privacy policy describes what data the plugin processes.
Data Collection
Data collected by this plugin
This plugin does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data on its own. It acts as a pass-through between Dify and a CRW server instance.
The plugin sends the following data to the configured CRW server:
- URLs provided by the user or Dify workflow for scraping, crawling, or mapping
- API credentials (API key) configured by the Dify workspace administrator
- Tool parameters such as CSS selectors, output formats, and crawl depth settings
Data NOT collected
- No user names, emails, or personal identifiers
- No cookies or browser data
- No analytics or telemetry
- No data is sent to any third party beyond the configured CRW server
Data Processing
All data processing occurs on the CRW server configured by the administrator:
- Self-hosted CRW: All data stays within your own infrastructure. No data leaves your network.
- fastcrw.com cloud: Data is processed by the fastcrw.com service. See the fastcrw.com privacy policy for details.
Third-Party Services
- If using fastcrw.com as the backend, the fastcrw.com service processes the URLs and returns scraped content. See fastcrw.com/privacy.
- If using a self-hosted CRW instance, no third-party services are involved.
Data Retention
This plugin does not retain any data. All responses are passed directly to the Dify workflow and are subject to Dify's own data retention policies.
